Vita Global Sciences is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team! Ideally, this candidate will go on site to our office, located in Back Bay in Boston, at least 2-3 times a week (or more during the training phase.) We will give candidates based in Boston first priority in the candidate review; however, we are also open to considering candidates to work remotely from Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, and Raleigh.
Sales Development Representative (SDR) – FSP & Vita Global Sciences Workforce Solutions
The SDR is responsible for driving new business opportunities, client engagements, and account penetration in the Life Sciences sector (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device & Diagnostic), focusing on workforce solutions (Consulting Services & Functional Service Provider/FSP). This role combines strategic outreach and rigorous prospecting to expand Kelly/VGS market share, generate qualified sales leads, and support proposal development through the lifecycle, leveraging industry best practices and technology for high-impact results.
Core Tasks & Responsibilities
New Business & Market Development
- Account Research: Conduct in-depth research on company pipeline, size, functional challenges, and market trends to position accurate solutions.
- Strategic Prospecting: Map and target personas according to company size/function (CEO/C-suite, Business Unit Leaders, VPs/Directors, TA, Procurement).
- Outreach Execution: Personalize outreach using playbook scripts and consultative messaging; schedule meetings for VP Global Solutions development team.
- Increase RFPs & Qualified Leads: Proactively identify, qualify, and engage new accounts; increase inbound and outbound RFP activity.
Sales Process & Proposal Support
- Activity Tracking: Document and stage all BD activities in HubSpot (including client info, interactions,).
- Generate Activity Reports: Provide weekly/monthly dashboards of meetings, RFPs, proposal status, account penetration, and other KPIs.
- Client Engagement Activities: Generate client interest for webinars, conferences, and industry meetings; support scheduling and invite efforts.
- Metrics Review: Track productivity and sales outcomes against pipeline goals, reporting to VP, Global Solutions.
Experience Requirements
- Industry Knowledge: Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in recruitment, sales development, or account management within Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostics) or workforce solutions sectors is strongly preferred.
- FSP Knowledge: Experience in supporting or selling Functional Service Provider (FSP) solutions or consulting services in Life Sciences.
- Prospecting & Outreach: Proven success in high-volume, strategic outbound prospecting, mapping key client personas, and targeting decision makers (C-suite, Business Unit Leaders, VPs, Directors, Talent Acquisition, Procurement).
- CRM Mastery: Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms for activity tracking, pipeline management, reporting, and documentation of business development stages is required. Familiarity with CRM-driven sales processes aligned with industry best practices and SOPs.
- Sales Process Support: Experience supporting RFP development, lead qualification, proposal activities, and generating regular activity reports/dashboards using sales analytics tools.
- Reporting & Metrics: Proficiency in tracking business development metrics, generating KPI reports (RFPs, meetings, proposal status, account penetration), and reporting outcomes to sales leadership.
- Events & Engagement: Prior involvement in client engagement activities such as webinars, conferences, industry meetings, and lead generation campaigns is highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field preferred.

$50,000-$60,000 + Commission
