Role: Clinical Talent Sourcer (FSP Program)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Talent Sourcer to support our growing Functional Service Provider (FSP) programs within the life sciences and clinical research industry. This role is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of specialized clinical research and clinical development talent for sponsor-dedicated programs.
The ideal candidate has strong experience sourcing across the clinical development lifecycle, including clinical operations, biometrics, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and medical affairs roles. This individual will partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and program leadership to deliver high-quality talent pipelines that support critical clinical trials and drug development programs.
This role requires a deep understanding of the clinical research talent market, sourcing strategies, and the ability to engage highly specialized professionals across sponsor and CRO environments. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Sourcing
  • Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates for clinical development roles using advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Develop talent pipelines for key functions across clinical research including but not limited to:
    • Clinical Operations
    • Clinical Monitoring (CRA I–III, Sr CRA)
    • Clinical Scientists
    • Clinical Trial Management (CTM / CPM)
    • Clinical Project Management
    • Biometrics (Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming)
    • Regulatory Affairs
    • Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety
    • Medical Affairs and writing
Market Intelligence
  • Provide insight into talent availability, market trends, and compensation benchmarks within the clinical research industry.
  • Identify competitor organizations and emerging talent pools within sponsor, CRO, and biotech environments.
Candidate Engagement
  • Conduct outreach and initial candidate engagement through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and niche clinical research communities.
  • Qualify candidates for skills, therapeutic expertise, trial phase experience, and program alignment.
  • Build relationships with passive candidates for future hiring needs.
Pipeline Development
  • Maintain active talent pipelines for priority FSP roles supporting client clinical programs.
  • Track candidate engagement and activity within ATS and CRM systems.
  • Ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates aligned with program demand.
Collaboration with Recruitment & Program Teams
  • Partner closely with recruiters to ensure alignment on role requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Participate in intake meetings with hiring managers and FSP program leadership.
  • Support workforce planning and proactive sourcing initiatives for upcoming studies and programs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience
  • Experience sourcing within clinical research, CROs, biotech, or pharmaceutical organizations
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing roles such as:
    • Clinical Research Associates
    • Clinical Trial Managers
    • Clinical Project Managers
    • Clinical Data Managers
    • Biostatisticians / Statistical Programmers
    • Regulatory Affairs professionals
  • Advanced sourcing skills using:
    • LinkedIn Recruiter
    • Boolean search techniques
    • Talent mapping tools
    • Professional networking platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting FSP or sponsor-dedicated hiring programs
  • Understanding of clinical trial phases (Phase I–IV) and clinical development processes
  • Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as oncology, rare disease, vaccines, or immunology
  • Experience sourcing within global clinical research markets
  • Knowledge of GCP and regulatory frameworks impacting clinical research roles
