Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector I for a long-term engagement with one of our Global Medical Device clients in Bridgewater, MA. This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. Quality Assurance Inspector I – Bridgewater MA
Duties:
- The Quality Technician I will perform inspections of machined components, assemblies and castings to support receiving inspection, validations, and process improvement activities.
- Will perform open set-up inspections utilizing a variety of inspection equipment and visual standards. Support Raynham Operator Certification initiatives throughout the facility.
- Mechanical inspection will be performed.
- The Quality Technician will utilize GD&T and blue print reading skills daily.
Qualifications Required:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Manufacturing background is required.
- 1-2 years of inspection experience in a precision machining and/or casting environment .
- Excellent written, oral communication, organization and computer skills
Preferred skills:
- Medical Device inspection experience.
- Blue print interpretation skills and a working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) applications
- Working knowledge of various applications of shop mathematics
- ASQ Certification
- Optical Comparators experience
- CMM operating experience is a plus
