Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Proposals Manager for a long-term engagement with one of our clients. This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. Proposal Manager

SUMMARY:

The Proposal Manager implements the proposal and contract processes, assigns tasks to be done and makes sure the proposal is relevant and accurate. The Proposal ensures that all the company’s proposals are fully executed from start to finish. This involves coordinating the proposal process, preparing the actual proposals and presenting them to clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Disperse information and overseeing the production of all the parts of the proposal
  • Visits the client to discuss their needs and any issues, ongoing processes, as well attend necessary meetings
  • Prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Editing and revising proposals according to feedback.
  • Reviewing products, services, and/or business ideas.
  • Creating strategies for convincing others to take appropriate action.
  • Perform other duties as needed

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may:
  • work at a desk using a computer for prolonged periods;
  • regularly communicate via e-mail, telephone, chat, webcam (remote sessions such as MS Teams or Zoom), and exchange accurate and timely information;
  • frequently sit/stand/walk, grasp lightly/fine manipulation of objects
  • occasionally reach/work above shoulders, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp forcefully, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.

 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Coordinate and edit proposal input from a variety of sources
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong written English language skills
  • Ability to work with functional groups and different levels of employees throughout the client company to achieve business results effectively and professionally.
  • Proactive and timely follow-up skills: the ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external stakeholder needs as needed.
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks respond to department requests and collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.
  • Ability to create compelling presentations that meet clients’ pain points to gain new business.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical and medical device products.
  • Proven experience executing full sales cycles (prospecting through closing and retention/upsell).
  • Self-starter and able to work independently and collaborate across different teams to meet company goals and projects.
  • Flexible in nature to accommodate new program growth and change.
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through the generation of leads
  • General and clinical understanding of the Clinical Research/pharmaceutical market

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer agreed upon timeframes.
  • Able to communicate at a senior level.
  • Experience in the healthcare/health research setting is a plus
