Summary:
PRN or part-time EMT or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical support for study participants. Responsibilities include inserting and managing saline locks (peripheral IVs), performing blood draws, conducting glucometer testing, assisting with mixed meal tolerance testing (MMTT), and monitoring participants during study visits while following study protocols and clinical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insert and maintain peripheral IV catheters (saline locks)
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples as required by study protocols
- Perform point-of-care glucometer testing
- Assist with and monitor participants during Mixed Meal Tolerance Tests (MMTT) according to protocol
- Flush and remove saline locks according to clinical standards
- Monitor participants for complications or adverse reactions
- Document procedures accurately in study records
- Follow infection control guidelines and study protocols
- Current EMT or RN license
- Proficiency in IV insertion, venipuncture, and point-of-care testing
- Current BLS certification
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
PRN / Part-time based on study needs; hours may vary depending on study visits.
